Fitness and Baby - but not together!

Ok, I think it is beyond time we updated this thing! Sorry to all of you that have been faithfully checking every day and are sick of looking at the Fitness Together logo. =) Speaking of FT, J is doing a fabulous job of getting his business up and running. He went to franchise school back in July and has been on his own (without the help of the previous owner) since the beginning of August. He is getting to know the current clients and working hard at signing up new ones, and doing some training in between. My mom complains every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but the results are really starting to show, so I guess he knows what he's doing! He's working his tail off, and I couldn't be prouder. =)

For those of you who are wondering, I'm definitely still pregnant. I guess everyone really knows that, but I'm still annoyed enough to keep saying it out loud. I spent all day Wednesday and Thursday having contractions 5 minutes apart, but they didn't do any good and stopped sometime in the night while I was sleeping. At this rate I'm guessing baby won't be here until I'm induced next Wednesday, so I'm going to take it easy until then.

On the flip side, not including the pain of contractions, I had an awesome 2 days. My grama was sweet enough to keep the kiddos for me, and I spent the entire two days with Mom and our friend Brenda. We didn't do a whole lot on Wednesday, some walking and lots of timing the contractions, but Thursday we had a blast. We got up early and spent the day together cleaning all our houses, got pedicures, had lunch together, walked a million miles at the mall, and did a lot of squats (they were supposed to make the baby come faster!) ... all in all we had a great couple days together and will have stories for a really long time! Thanks girls!

Kari, the race is still on, I really thought I had you beat for sure, but it's still up in the air. Think you can hold off until Wednesday so I can go first this time? If not, I understand, but see what you can do. =)

Last but certainly not least - I have gotten a ton of phone calls, e-mails, and text messages from everyone over the last few days checking on me, offering help, and general good wishes and prayers, and those mean so much! Thank you so much to everyone for all the support through this ordeal!

I have some of those pictures, but she won't let me post them ... maybe I should just do it anyway and apologize later??

Hey, if you get to post so do I. I'm dying to put on the squatting ones. I won't though until I get permission. :)Wudge

Go for it, I'll protect you. She only seems scary, it's all an act.

Hey - did you guys know I can restrict visitors at the hospital? I get to pick who gets to come in, and who has to stay out. Isn't that interesting?

I really think it would be cool if you and Kari went on the same day:0
Love you all and hope everything goes without a hitch! Molly, the anxiously awaiting aunt!

So glad to hear from you Christa. Love the details of last week's adventures. You're sounding at peace with the ever-vigilant waiting that those last weeks require. I do love getting all excited about "the contractions are coming and we'll let you know" even if it doesn't pan out. Which both you and Kari have been through this month. Also I know I'll be getting definite details on Wed., and that's almost here. I can't wait to see each of these new "little ones" and their parents and siblings with them. God Bless and I love you all. We're planning to come up sometime after you're home and settled in a bit. You take good care Christa. Sheila

Angie what's the saying. Its always easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission. I say go for it! As for you Christa it pains me to say I believe you get to go first this time. Although I don't have it on any authority at all. But signs point to no labor yet. I go in sometime tomorrow to get checked, so you never know. But we have such a busy week this week, so the weekend might be easier for everyone all around. Like I can control these things. But as impatient as you are( which I understand) I am equally ready to wait bambino/bambina out. Ready, set, GO!

OK I settled for an "honest" prego picture of Christa - took it today and w/ her permission will post it on my blog tomorrow. Should have gotten one of her hooves ... uh I mean feet ... too. :)
